A Witness is like a Friend on Facebook or a Follower on Instagram. The difference is that a Witness is enabled to help their fellow SAFE4R users in a time of need by calling 911 immediately or by directly helping if nearby.

You can add people to your Witness list by simply sending an invite through the application. Those people can be your Witness by downloading the app and accepting the invitation.

You can add as many Witnesses as you like. You should invite as many people as you can because when you are in trouble, there is no limit to the number of people you would like to be available to help you.

You can designate 5 of your Witnesses to be Buddies. A Buddy will be contacted when the Safe4r Lite button is pushed as well as the full Safe4r Alert. The first Buddy that answers the Alert will go Video-in-Video with the person who set off the Alert as well (like Facetime).

If you agree to be a Witness, you are committing to answering the call if a person sets off a Safe4r Alert if possible. Once you answer the Safe4r Alert, you have the ability to call 911 if the person set off the Alert is in trouble.

If a person is currently a Safe4r user, you can find that person through the search button. If a person is not a current Safe4r user, you can share the application with your friends by text or email straight from the App.

You can have up to 5 Buddies. You can have as many Witnesses as you wish and you can have 5 Witnesses that you can designate as your Buddies.
